Writers wanted (architecture, buildings, sustainability) | $1,000 per month for 2+ articles per week

COMPANY/PUBLICATION: GREEN BUILDING & DESIGN

We are looking for freelance writers who are passionate about writing about architecture, buildings, and sustainability.

Writers will be required to submit at least two pieces per week—all topics will be assigned by a managing editor and will be written based off a mix of independent research and supplied press releases and materials.

We estimate these assignments to take approximately 6 to 10 hours a week depending on experience.

Projected annual income is $12,000 USD to be paid in monthly milestones of $1,000.

Articles run from 800 to 1,600 words and must be fully prepared in Wordpress—including uploading images, titles, meta info, and captions and following specific guidelines for SEO.

• Committed to creating original and engaging content
• Possesses strong communication skills
• Highly proficient at research through authoritative and up-to-date sources
• Displays exceptional attention to detail
• Able to think critically about writing and research
• Responsive to managing editors through email in regard to project assignment and deadlines
• Knowledge of Wordpress and basic SEO a plus
