All the accessories are done!

To give RT proper credit, they sent me a replacement for the damaged floodgate, commenting that mine was a pre-production prototype with some kinks that had to be ironed out. They actually sent me this diorama hoping that Iโd finish it in time for their box-art and catalogueโฆ but my quick summer project (Puma ๐) threw a wrench in that wheel.
To be honest, laser-cut wooden parts are great to assemble, but more difficult to paint. Because theyโre made from compressed sawdust (MDF board?) thereโs no natural wood grain and you canโt really inscribe it either. So you have to rely on paints and technique completely. The results were more difficult to achieve and theyโre not perfect, but damn, did I learn some efficient tricks, especially drybrushing the fake woodgrain and finishing it all with multiple glazes. All caught on video, of course!
Alright, now itโs either time for the base or the figures ๐
