It makes me scared to even criticize them if I don't do it in an extremely polite way like I am sending some victorian era letter. We are online, there should be some color to the discussion and criticism. Just avoid the slurs and "actual" personal attacks. Also he keeps saying "if you don't like us leave" but what he's missing is that it's like having a family member or friend with an opposing political opinion. You can still call out that person's bias or opinions you have issues with without throwing out the person. I feel this dissonance about Colin all the time but I hope I'm relatively polite about it

It was not until how precious time made itself known that I finally buckled down, got two jobs, and worked towards a trade school. I wrote into Sacred some time ago with a similar inquiry, and I'm happy to report I took action. Been through the hell of being single in my mid-thirties, with no assets and nothing I'd call a career. But your soul doesn't have to perish out of lonely frustration; your world of troubles is conquerable.

"Keep stepping forward... and you'll be more likely to find your pocket in life..." Continuing to find action where I can take it and routine where it works. Meaning comes later. At 38 I'm happily divorced with one kid and a job that I love... And tbh this is the happiest and most relaxed I've ever been in my entire life. Despite years of medication, therapy and listening to Colin rant/qoute Seinfeld it was really th action part that moved me forward and helped me find my place in society. Hang in there bud

I sort of only dip into reddit on occasion when trying to solve a tech issue at work and had no idea any of this drama was going on beyond the tidbits of information I hear from you guys on the regular show. Given what you laid out in this show I feel like you've made the right decision. As a politically homeless lifelong independent I actually appreciate the diversity of opinions across the shows at Sacred Symbols. All are welcome here as far as I can tell.... Just don't be a dick about it.

Iāve had two comments in this very thread already deleted simply for mentioning whatās happening on Reddit. Theyāre banning people in an indiscriminate manner, and theyād greatly prefer people to stop talking about it altogether. Colin is using the people that were posting truly awful things as a cover to ban anyone who gets under his skin now.

2025-03-30 15:27:33 +0000 UTCI think the reason that the new Patapon 1+2 release isn't coming to PS4 is because those games are already available on PS4. They weren't just ports of the PSP games, they were full remasters. Patapon 3 was never remastered - which is probably why it's not being included in this collection. The PSP version did recently get a PS Classic release though.

2025-03-30 14:11:00 +0000 UTCAC shadows is really disappointing. Each character is half of a character. You used to be able to sneak and if you get caught you can fight your way out. Naoe can not fight well. Yasuke can fight really well but he can't stealth or climb things. It is so frustrating.

Complete transparency will stop this constant talk of "bad handling of free speech" on both reddit and discord.

2025-03-28 19:46:39 +0000 UTCI think it'd be a very different reaction if this news was that a smaller Uncharted project was coming up lol (which may well be happening too based on recent ND news) . It just seems like the guys (but mostly Colin tbh) are pretty apathetic about God of War nowadays. Maybe it's down to loyalty to Jaffe in that he's not involved in the modern GoW games and his games aren't talked about as much now - but the way they talk about these games doesn't match what the general perception is - they are enormous successes both critically and commercially. And if SSM can get a smaller GoW project out while they're working on their next big IP, then that would seem to be a pretty astute decision. I'd bet it does really well again, and it would help please the fans who bemoan the lack of 1st party output

I like to say Iām apolitical these days, but Iād lean more left if I had to pick. What the current admin is doing is wild, but itās not Colin, Dustinās etc fault. in fact, I heard Colin recently say heās not in favor of a lot of what Trump is doing. Thatās probably because they lied and they are trying to fleece the country. No one voted for what they are doing. If they still blindly support MAGA then they are too far gone. None of that has anything to do with the content of LSM, though.

2025-03-28 16:35:18 +0000 UTCI don't see the issue with a smaller, side project on God of War - given that it's clear that Santa Monica's next main project is the rumoured new IP from Cory Barlog, which he's been working on since before Ragnarok was even released. Maybe some of the Ragnarok team spun off after that game to create this, and if it's a smaller game then it could be turned around quicker. Smaller games in the mould of Miles Morales & Lost Legacy are a very good thing imo, I'd like to see more of that from PS's top studios if they have multiple teams. It means you have 1st party games from the premier studios more often - the lack of this is what annoys people the most nowadays it seems
