Hello everyone!!!
Something different today! Itβs been ages since I shared the last Behind the Scenes video, so here we are with a brand-new one! π€©π€©π€©
As I mentioned in the previous post, I recorded my screen while creating the latest Nova wallpaper, for those of you interested in seeing a bit more of how the game is made (or at least, how the renders are made).
This one was a fairly simple render: I only used direct light, two small point lights, and a pre-made map (no background work required), with just one character and a couple of items (and a doggo!).
As you can imagine, the more characters, items, and complex lighting a scene has, the more time it takes. No worries though, I sped up the whole process a lot so itβs actually watchable.
In the video, youβll see me load the character (already pre-edited with the right outfit), then apply one of my pre-saved poses and tweak it from there. After that, I adjust the nodes, place the items, and refine countless little detailsβhair, facial expressions, lighting, and more.
Once everything is set, I usually fix small clipping issues and polish anything that needs it in Photoshop, and voilΓ , you have one render!
Remember you can check out the wallpaper I create in the video HERE! (posted a few weeks ago)
