Itโs the first two chapters of a series called CARGOโa story about a grizzled trucker hauling mysterious freight through a post-apocalyptic desert known as the Valley, with a bodacious biker girl riding shotgun. It was planned as a fun 15 issue road trip story.
This was the first comic book I ever wrote, drew, printed, and distributedโoriginally released in a super limited run. After shifting focus to Hidden Curves, itโs been sitting quietly on the back burner, but I still have a lot of love for it, and thought some of you might enjoy seeing where my comic storytelling started.
Thereโs also some excerpts about me and what inspired the story as well as a bunch of concept art in the back!
