Looking back hurts. But maybe that’s the point.

Whenever I talk about older photos, I usually talk about them negatively.
Maybe that’s a good sign. It means something’s shifting — but it doesn’t make it any easier to look at them.

I don’t know if other photographers feel this way.
There’s a saying:
“The best photo is always the next one — the one you haven’t taken yet.”

Przeważnie jak się wypowiadam o swoich starszych zdjęciach, to źle.
Może to dobrze — znaczy, że coś się zmienia — ale nie zmienia to faktu, że boli na nie patrzeć.

Nie wiem, czy inni fotografowie też tak mają.
Jest takie powiedzenie:
„Najlepsze zdjęcie to zawsze to następne, którego jeszcze nie zrobiłeś.”
