shame some of the best bits were edited out of the reaction

It has to be heavily edited to keep within fair use guidelines or the BBC will have it blocked.

Hi from the UK Aaron and Melanie. Have just watched your reaction for episode 11, and because i became so invested in seeing the next video and how you react to it, and all of the episode, i have signed up to be a patreon supporter. Thank you for brilliant reactions so far, i'm sure this will be amazing too.

I really didn't care for the Capaldi years. Not his fault, he was great, he just didn't get the same quality of stories that earlier Doctors did. Until this one.

Given the number of times The Master has died since his debut I wouldn't be so sure The Master is gone for good. He/She will likely pop up in the future and we'll never know how

watch "an adventure in space and time" and you will see that first doctor, you should watch it truly.

The general rule of meeting your younger self is that the younger lose the memories and the older keep the memories. Like Missy will remember everything and the master will forgets most of it.

First time I've seen Aaron actually cry, held himself together though. Well done. It's been over a year since this episode aired here in the UK, I've seen it many times. I've never finished it with dry eyes because 12 is my doctor. Although Bill's exit is very similar to Clara's, I feel like Bill's is done better, its actually set-up. With Clara you know she's always got to get back to the time/place of her death, since time is still flowing you know she got there, that's how I pretend that it never happened ;-). Seriously though when you travel with this crazy alien and you battle monsters intent on wiping out half the universe, every now and then one of the companions has to fall. It keeps us interested because we actually don't know everyone's gonna pull through.

Tom baker when he regenerated said the sontarans have perverted the course of human history

The sad part of the Master/Missy killing themselves is that the Doctor's speech worked, his friend was coming to help, and he never gets to know.
Excellent reaction! Very easy to get choked up in this one.

The "it's kind of hazy" comment was foreshadowing that the Master was going to regenerate into Missy during this episode. Whenever characters meet up with their past selves, only the most recent iteration remembers the events clearly. That's what they were talking about with the fact that The Master wouldn't remember this. Missy's regeneration was hazy to her because it happened so close to their timelines meeting. The thing with the component was that she didn't have a clear memory of who threatened her, but being threatened and told to always have a spare was a powerful enough memory that she somewhat remembered.
You guys brought up when Tenant and Smith and the War Doctor met up, and they mentioned this stuff then as well. At the end Matt Smith told the other two they wouldn't remember these events.

Also David Bradley is Finch from Harry Potter and Walder Frey from GOT. He is amazingly able to make me forget both of those horrible characters when he is the first doctor.

The sontarans line was Tom Baker’s first line in Doctor Who and Peter Capaldi personally wanted that line as he always considered Tom Baker as his Doctor when he was watching the show growing up and wanted to honour him
