Hi, it's me again!
I wanted to share some of my thoughts and plans with you.

Ever since I started creating my stories in a new format, I’ve noticed that I’ve been feeling much more exhausted. Maybe it’s burnout, maybe it’s because the number of renders has increased, or maybe it’s simply because I haven’t taken a proper break in a long time… or maybe it’s all of that combined.

In any case, I’ve come to a few conclusions:

• Taking 2–3 days off between comic releases isn’t enough to rest and recharge. I often feel like a squeezed lemon by the time I start working on a new story.

• Since I don’t create maps and environments from scratch myself, it takes a lot of time to find assets that actually match the setting of each scene.

• I can’t always bring the ideas in my head to life through renders. You wouldn’t believe how many scenes I’ve had to abandon because they simply couldn’t be recreated in the software I use.

Based on all this, I’ve decided to do a few things:

• Take a break. Don’t worry, it won’t be a full month—I don’t want to leave you without any new stories for too long :) I’ll be taking time off until August 18th. I want to enjoy the last month of summer and recharge for the upcoming comics.

• Try a new format.

• And before the end of this year, I hope to surprise you with something special. If it works out, my renders will reach an entirely new level—one that will free me from many of my current limitations. But I won’t get ahead of myself… For now, I’ll just say I hope it works out :)

As for the new format:
The current comic series “The Missing” will continue in its usual manga-style format—no changes there.

But I’ll also release a pilot comic in the new format to see how you feel about it. The new style will be more like a light novel: key scenes will be illustrated with image + text, and everything else will be told purely through writing.

Many of you already know how deeply I can describe a character’s sensations—not just emotionally, but also physically (yes, those too 😉). This format will save me a lot of time and energy, while giving you a more immersive experience—one that lets you truly feel what the main character feels… with all the colors, tastes, and even scents 😉.

And that’s just a small part of what might be coming if everything goes well.
But all these experiments, plans, and thoughts… they’re all for one reason—you.
I’m looking for ways to keep going without burning out.
Ways to keep doing what I love.
Ways to stay connected—with you, with my characters, and with the stories I pour myself into.

This turned out a lot longer than I expected—sorry about that. But I’ve been thinking about all this for months, and it took time to gather my thoughts and put them into words.
