One thing that always struck me as odd is how we get absolutely no reaction to Shizune's death by Tsunade. Granted, I know she was no longer connected to the villagers through Katsuyu and was distracted by Pain suddenly dropping in, but still.

I don't ever remember Pain saying that he was going to destroy the leaf village. He just did it. Characters like Orochimaru and Sasuke talked about destroying the village. Pain just flat out did it. It definitely adds to the shock of seeing it.

When Naruto is summoned...that was Jiraiya's funny intro theme.. they did a great job on transferring that with sage mode Naruto. You guys are great too! Nice to see Madison happy at this point considering all the hurt she has endured during this arc! Can't wait for the next episode!!

I get so starstruck watching Naruto and Pain that sometimes I forget how impactful and strong Tsunade was in this arc and in Naruto in general. She really protected everyone from the Almighty Push aka Shinra Tensei and still had the will to stand and fight after taking basically a point-blank nuke.
