Well, things didn't go very smoothly this month. The holocats took longer than I expected to animate and I had to make a new rig for Pekora's face.

I've realized that I might have messed up the color profile settings on the project. Like the color on the youtube video seems a little bit washed out, or maybe it's just that the video compression doesn't look great on very saturated flat colors. I'm not sure. But the downloadable version here should look better:

Man, I've been struggling the entire past month with After Effects. The render times were brutal, it took 7 seconds to preview a single frame of Sana's kimono at 1/4 resolution. And I thought it was because of all the heavy effects, but after a fresh install everything got 6x faster. Just wasted a bunch of time...

Back in 2017 I re-animated the first episode for the 5 year anniversary of TBSP, and I wanted to do something similar with the Portal 2 episode for the 10th anniversary this year. Unfortunately I missed the exact date, but I still want to do it!

Super Quick update! There are just two scenes left to animate, but there's still quite a bit of painting to do. I'm also experimenting with 3D a little bit, kinda like the Beef PC animation, but instead of 2D elements on a 3D character, it's some 3D parts on a 2D character. The ETA on the animation is around two weeks, maybe sooner!

Korone is finally going to play Banjo again! She announced it on twitter last week and I painted this little image to celebrate.
Back in 2020 she was trying to do 100% completion on her first playthrough, which is crazy. Hopefully, she tries the 360 or the switch version this time around, she would probably enjoy it more with all the little improvements and the save states!
